Sponsia among the nominees at Eventex Awards International 2013

We are very pleased to announce that Sponsia has been nominated for “Event technology of the year” at the Eventex Awards International 2013.

Sponsia will compete with 11 other nominees in the category of the best software, application and mobile event technologies that made the best events happen in 2013.

All nominees will be carefully assessed by an international jury, composed of experts and professionals in the events industry such as David Adler, Stefania Conti-Vecchi, James Morgan and others. The evaluation is formed by key features and objectives, marketing and sales strategy, key clients or target for start-ups and overall presentation of the entry.

Voting of the jury will be open until Saturday, 15 March 2014 and the winners in each category will be announced on the 18th of March 2014.

Sponsia placed 3rd in the BG Site 2013 competition

Sponsia took the 3rd place in the BG Site 2013 competition – the 14th edition of one of the most prestigios web awards in Bulgaria. The winners were announced on an official award ceremony that was held on November 19 in Rainbow Plaza, Sofia.

Our project was one of three nominees in the “Made in BG” category which evaluates the best foreign language websites created in Bulgaria. pCloud won the first prize in the category while the second prize went to D`angelico guitars.

The sites were rated by a jury composed of experts and managers of leading sites or companies. The evaluation was based on content, design, functionality, technical performance and originality.

We would like to thank the jury, the organisers and all the people who supported us in this competition. We promise to be the best next year!


Sponsia among the finalists at How to Web Startup Spotlight 2013

Just two weeks after our trip to Dublin’s Web Summit 2013, we are ready to dive in our next startup challenge! Sponsia was selected to participate in the final of the Startup Spotlight competition, part of the How to Web conference which will be held between November 19 and 22 in Bucharest, Romania.

Sponsia will compete with 31 other teams for some great prizes like the $10,000 Best Startup Award and the $5,000 IXIA Innovation Award. There will be also prizes for the Runner-Up ($3,000) and the Best pitch in show ($2,000). Besides that, the finalists will have the chance to meet investors, VCs, mentors and other entrepreneurs and receive valuable exposure, advice and feedback.

Sponsia’s pitch in the first round, that has to determine the Best 8, is scheduled for November 19.

We are very pleased to announce that Sponsia has been nominated in the BGsite 2013 competition – one of the most prestigious web awards in Bulgaria!

Sponsia is one of the three nominees selected among 13 candidates for the best foreign language website created in Bulgaria in the “Made in BG” category.

The sites are rated by a jury, composed of experts and managers of leading sites or companies. The evaluation is based on content, design, functionality, technical performance and originality.

The winners in the specified categories will be announced on a special ceremony which will take place on 19 November 2013 in Sofia.

Eventyard gives international exposure to independent artists and musicians

With a brand new iOS application and releases in several European cities, Eventyard gets international presence and opens up a new Seed round for investors.
