It’s been an exciting month for Sponsia since the launch of our crowdfunding campaign on Seedrs, the leading equity crowdfunding platform in the UK. We’ve had a promising start and already secured 68 030 GBP of our target. Now with only 14 days left, we need your strong support to help us reach our final goal – 125 000 GBP.
Our crowdfunding campaign, which is also backed by the Eleven VC fund, allows ordinary people and professional investors to easily invest in Sponsia small amounts of money and get shares in the company as a result. We are looking to raise funding in exchange for 10% equity to support Sponsia’s product development, growth and international expansion.
If you thought that disrupting the sponsorship industry is cool or just wanted to support our mission, now is the time to take advantage of this opportunity.
You can contribute with as little as 10 GBP and share it with your friends so we can create a viral effect.
Meanwhile, Sponsia has successfully managed to apply for Horizon 2020 – an EU framework program that provides funding and support to SMEs for innovation projects to help them grow and expand into other countries. The amount of the possible project financing will be 942 982 EUR which for investors through Seedrs means that if they invest now, as shareholders they will potentially benefit from a venture with much higher value and secured additional financing for larger market expansion for the next 2 years.
How to invest
You have to register, click the orange ‘INVEST’ button and follow the steps to pledge the amount you want to invest. Then you have to transfer to Seedrs the amount you’re pledging by debit card or bank transfer. When our campaign hits its target, your investment goes through, with Seedrs taking care of all the legal processes and costs on investors behalf.
What does Sponsia do?
Sponsia has the ambition to create a global online marketplace for event sponsorship opportunities. To build it, we provide desktop & mobile solutions that help event organizers sell more of their media property to sponsors. Our latest product is a customized mobile event application that is being received very well by local event organizers. We started business in the beginning of 2013 and already have growing customer base, recurring revenue and valuable market experience.
How Seedrs works
Seedrs helps startups raise money and is regulated by the FCA. So far it has recorded more than 100 deals with an average of 1m GBP invested per month in successful campaigns and a growing base of more than 30 000 investors. It’s like Kickstarter for startups but instead of T-shirts you get real shares in our business.
